STEPS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

TO BE SUCCESSFUL: BELIEVE in YOURSELF

Motivation is primarily self-motivation. No outside influence can match kind of inner boost you five to yourself. The more you have faith in yourself, the more you try to accomplish your objectives.

1. Believe in your capability of being successful
Cease thinking of what you cannot do, and think of what you can do. A popular saying goes, "don't let the things you can't do stop you from doing things which you can do."

2. Seize every opportunity

Hold the deep conviction: "Yes, this is the right time for me, I know I can succeed." Ray Kroc was already sickly and past 50 when he felt inspired purchase a successful California restaurant. By the time he died in 1984, his McDonald's Corporation was the largest restaurant company in the world.

3. Think BIG
The size of a goal is determined not just by the size of your brain but also by the size of your faith. The Great Wall of China, the Pyramids of Egypt and the Eiffel Tower are the testaments to the grand aspirations of their creators.

4. Discipline your thoughts
Thoughts are the basis of all actions. You can control your actions if you control your thoughts. Japanese Zen monk have a remarkable sense of discipline. They can squat and meditate for hours emptying their minds of outside thoughts and letting feelings of peace and serenity flow within.

BELIEVE IN YOUR POTENTIAL

A SONG AND A STAR

Sir Cameron Mackintosh, the famed producer of Broadway and West End musicals, was frustrated. He and his team searched the entire United States and London for actors and actresses who would be part of their latest musical production. They had less that a year before their project opened but the roles were still unfilled.

Claude Michel-SchÖnberg, a composer of the award-winning musical Les Miserables suggested that they go to the Philippines to find the right person for the demanding roles of his new opera. He believed that their search would be a success because for him, there was nothing like Filipino talent.

In late 1988, Manila newspapers ran an advertisement that announced the search for the leading role for a new musical called Miss Saigon. Nobody knew that the show it represented would become synonymous to a young Filipino named Lea Salonga.

At that time, no one outside the Philippines had ever heard of Lea Salonga, a 17-year old aspiring actress and singer, but she was well-known in her own country. She began her career at seven, appearing in movies, and was the host of her own TV show by twelve. Friends urged her to audition for any part, whether a bit role or the lead role. Although Leas was hesitant to audition because she was in college, she still auditioned. "What's to lose?," shes said herself.

During the audition, Lea nervously sang "On My Own" from Les Miserables. They asked her to sing again so she sang Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love of All". After another round of auditions, Mackintosh announced that their worldwide search had come to an end: Lea along with fifteen others had passed.

After months of rehearsals, Miss Saigon debuted onstage in London, with the 2 1/2 hour spectacle dazzling audiences. Lea Salonga was mesmerizing in her lead role as Kim, a Vietnamese woman who falls in love with an American soldier and bears his child. So successful was the production that it also became a hit in New York.

Their success elicited an avalanche or rave reviews. Time magazine said, "in Salonga, a star is born." Lea became Asia's West End Queen and the toast of London. But that wasn't at all. In April 1990, she was declared by the prestigious Sir Laurence Olivier Awards as Best Actress in a Musical along with male lead actor Jonathan Pryce as Best Actor.

No doubt Lea Salonga was constantly motivated.

The Mighty Mouse

DARE TO DREAM

To many people, Walt Disney is a 20th century icon of success. Like many mythic American figures, he had an ambitious entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for technology and a humble beginning. "There's a child in all of us," Walt believed, and he used that creed to work his way to the top.

Growing up in the farm in Kansas, young Walt worked for a commercial art studio in Kansas, young Walt worked for commercial art studio in Kansas City making animated commercials while selling cartoons to a local theater. Walt was inspired to create his own animation studio, but it failed. Undaunted (and with only 40 dollars in his pocket), Walt, his brother Roy and a friend went to Hollywood. They created the character Oswald Rabbit, but they lost the rights to the character in a disputer with their distributor (who then blatantly hired most of their staff).

In 1928 and still stubbornly persistent, Walt created a character named Mickey Mouse-which became an instant favorite. Mickey was soon joined by other characters such as Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald Duck. They created the Three Little Pigs with its hit song "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf". In 1937 Walt released his first feature-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which grossed millions of dollars in sales. Audiences loved his films because of its spectacular animation, hummable tunes, and upbeat stories.

In 1955 Walt opened Disneyland, his 160-acre fantasy-theme park in California, which eventually spawned the Walt Disney World in Florida, Tokyo Disneyland in Japan, and Euro Disney in France. Walt also won 29 Oscars for his films, and was regarded as the king of American entertainment. After his death in 1966, Walt's legacy lived on in a whole new generation of animated features, such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and the Lion King.

Because of Walt Disney, millions of kids have found happiness and fun while watching Mickey and his friends at home. Also, millions of families enjoy their summers or family vacations with Walt's giant theme parks and his unforgettable movies. Walt Disney was truly a successful person.

HOW YOU DEFINE SUCCESS?

Success is a relative term. It means different things to different people. A lot of people automatically conjure images of a fat bank account, a big house, or flashy car when they think of success. Well, that's one aspect of success. But total success is much, much more. Some people also think of success as having a good family life, happy home, a feeling of contentment or ease, or to be always in love.
Being successful means not being able to achieve fulfillment or excellence in your goals but also having the kind of feelings just mentioned above. Our generation has made success so synonymous with something materials or tangible that we seen to have forgotten one thing: the very root if success is the positive feelings that come with accomplishment and achievement.

ALL About SUCCESS

What success mean? when i tried to google the meaning of success, then here's the results;

Success is something different.
Success to most people is when you have an ongoing string of accomplshments that when put together, add up to a major obtainment in life known as Success. The addition of all the accomplishments in a person's career or life can be viewed as Success in their life and business.
Success then is an ongoing realization and obtainment of worthy desired results, concerning actions, life, business, wealth, or a worthy ideal.
But there is even a higher level of Success.
There is a more powerful level of High Achievement.
That is why we call the Path to Success "Success to Success." It is Biblical that we all move from Glory to Glory, and we all must move from one level of Success to another.
It is called "True Success."
True Success is simply the realization and obtainment of a worthy ideal or result that your heart is deeply connected to it. It is what births PASSION and your SUCCESS PASSION. It is what people die for. It is why some people explode out of the gates and create Success easily, and others struggle all their life. They are operating on a whole different realm of Success and actions.
It is a Success that is SOAKED with Emotion, Powered by Passion, Driven by Destiny, and Forged with the Fire of the Heart.
There is is no more powerful Success than the Success that the heart is welded to it by the Fire of Passion.
Then we would say that Success and your heart have a definite connection in any type of True Success, and any kind that is long term.
That is why that many athletes and artists have long careers. Their heart is attached to their Success. That is why entrepreneurs many times have long careers. They are operating in their Passion and True Success Power. Many business people today have experienced True Success in their life on an ongoing basis.
Have you?
People accomplish things everyday. They accomplish results and more. People Succeed everyday in the marketplace and on the athletic field, as well as the professional field. The home field with raising successful children is one of the greatest True Success passions there is.
But few obtain True Success.
Why?
True Success has to be Passion driven, with a heart OnFIRE. True Success is birthed from a Dream that cannot be denied. It is driven by a hunger that cannot be stopped. It is driven by a focus that is unrelenting. It is driven by actions that will not be contained. And it is driven by a Force that knows no failure.
What is Success?
That is up to you. But it is not just accomplishment. It is beyond that.
The steady realization of a moral and worthy ideal is Success to most folks.
The steady realization of a dream and an ideal that is driven by the heart and Passion that will not, cannot, and will never be denied is Success to a few folks.
Those few folks not only know the meaning of Success, but also the experience of a Deeper and Higher level of Success.
They are driven by Success, not just pursuing it.
And within that little difference is the meaning and power between Success and True Success
